Professional Qualifications & Experience:
Jasmine has been in the Experiential Learning and Outdoor Adventure Learning Arena since 1998, mainly involved in designing and directing Youth Adventure, Youth Leadership programmes, and Corporate Training Programmes. Jasmine’s repertoire of knowledge and skills was enhanced with the training she received through the Professional Diploma in Training and Development and Professional Certificate in Designing and Facilitating Experiential with STADA (Singapore Training And Development Association), Jasmine is currently a certified People Developer Manager and Assessor with SPRING, Rockwall Climbing and Abseiling Instructor, and is trained in Industrial Working Ropes Access Operation with Miller Troll based in the UK.

Besides managing Operations, instructors, projects, resources and designing, directing and facilitating corporate team bonding and leadership programs, leadership development programs for youths, both locally and overseas, Jasmine is also actively involved in conducting Train-the-Trainer programmes, Conducting Rockwall Climbing and Abseiling Instructor Courses for instructors and instructors-to-be, coaching and developing new instructors and leaders. Most of the projects and courses designed and directed by Jasmine, received outstanding ratings and accolades.
Technically, Jasmine is also very involved in assisting Adventure Races as Ropes Section Technical Crew, responsible for the safe rigging and setting up of the ropes section in the races, and dispatching racers through the sections safely, in the highly stressed environment. Among the Races, was the Wilderness Adventure Race (WAR), which she involved as the Assistant Race Director, organizing and directing the Race as, setting up 45 teams of racers to race from Pasir Ris through Kayaking, Swimming in river mouth, Cycling, Running, Navigating and various Ropes Sections in Ubin, and a spectacular 60m Flying Fox Descend into the Ubin Quarry. Jasmine, with her skills and competencies have been bringing Adventures to Students right in their schools, by rigging up Abseiling, Flying Fox, High Ropes Elements and Tyrolean Traverse in the school building.

Her forte in Training, Program design, Facilitation and Coaching, and Safety Attitude was anchored to her service in the St. John Ambulance Brigade, as a (now ex) Commissioned Officer. Interestingly, Jasmine was a Singapore St. John Ambulance Brigade Representative for 3 years Consecutively bringing Glory to Singapore by Clinching the Championship for the Singapore-Malaysia St John Ambulance First Aid and Footdrill Competition, for the Nursing Adult Division, Champion in Footdrill & Team Inspection, and Team Discussion in the St. John Ambulance International Youth Competition in New Zealand, and a SJAB Singapore Ambassador for various International visits and Competition.
Her experience in understanding, handling and connecting with the youths of today have benefited her tremendously and gave her an advantage while delivering workshops such as Study Skills, Motivation, Stress Management and Mental Skills, Mental Strength training and Leadership.

Jasmine’s experience stretches beyond experiential learning and into the Great Outdoors. Jasmine have too, since year 2000, been very active in leading treks, planning and organizing expeditions for Youths, Adults and Corporate Teams, managing details such as risk management, safety, meal and nutrition, training and gears, transport and team dynamics. Her expedition portfolio links from Singapore’s one and only ‘Mountain’, Bukit Timah to the various Malaysia’s Waterfalls and mountains, such as the Gunung Ledang, Gunung Stong and Gunung Ayam, Gunung Tapis and the Pelangi Waterfalls, Berkelah, etc to Sabah’s Gunung Kinabalu and Thailand’s Krangkrachang National Park. Her local knowledge from the countless visits to these trails and mountain enabled her to provide in-depth advice, gain the confidence of her charges, take care of charges and, lead safe and memorable expeditions.

Jasmine, Tested, by the rigors and demands required of an Outdoor and Adventure Leader, Stands out through her age with her positive deposition, confidence, safety attitude, technical and soft skill competencies and wits.

Jasmine also has experiences in managing Adventure centers and maintained a high level of technical competency together with soft skills competency. Jasmine is also trained in First Aid and CPR (instructor), Home Nursing, attaining Sports Climbing level 2 under the specifications of Singapore Mountaineering Federation (SMF), Level 3 Abseiling Proficiency with OBS, and a Level 1 Singapore Adventure Leader. (SALT). Jasmine too is a qualified Rock wall Climbing and Abseiling Instructor with Wilderness Associates.

In the last few months Jasmine had conducted both local and overseas teambuilding and leadership programs for the following companies: Wilson International, Tetra Pak Jurong, Ngee Ann Poly, KLA Tencor, Citibank. Conducted customized youth programmes namely: Motivation and Study Skills for Princess Elizabeth Primary, Mental Strength for Parkview Primary, Rockwall climbing sessions for Youth at Risk with MCYS, Teambuilding camp for British International School, Jakarta, and Lead the following youth training programmes namely: Youth At Risk programmes for Serangoon NPC, Leadership Training & Coaching (Train the Student Instructors) for the High Performance Team (HPT) in Presbyterian High School, Leadership and Facilitation for Northland Secondary YLDP, Leadership for Ngee Ann Polytechnic, conduct Rockwall Climbing and Abseiling Instructor Course with Wilderness Associates, and Adventure Exposure programmes in Anglican High School, Bedok South Secondary, Admiralty Primary etc, bringing Adventure right into the schools.
